It's the natural state of markets, but we have been living in unnatural times for the past decade given ultra-low interest rates and other accomodative fiscal policies in the U.S. and around the world that have blown mighty winds into global equity markets. The days of 'easy money', are gone. Investors and investing professionals are going to have to work harder to generate returns.
