A note of gratitude and some helpful tips in this holiday season... Hello readers,
We are off for the holidays until Friday, but we wanted to share our gratitude with you and leave you with a few holiday thoughts this season.
We are so grateful to our readers who make everything we do possible. Your feedback, encouragement, and support mean everything to us, and we are honored that you choose to spend part of your day with us.
2019 has been a truly dynamic year for global investors. Returns in both the stock and fixed income markets have been extraordinary despite the headwinds of the trade war, economic uncertainties across many continents, and concerns about the stamina of the rally across asset classes.

As we often say, we are living in an era of ultra-low interest rates. It's a global trend, even in advanced economies, many of which have negative interest rates on their government bonds. As global growth is slowing, central banks around the world are using the levers of monetary policy to stimulate growth and spending. It's working - for now. We don't know how long this will last, or if the effects will remain the same as deficits climb, so it's important to maintain perspective, diversification across asset classes, and a strong awareness of your risk tolerance and time frames.

Thanks again for being there for us. Whether you are celebrating with family and friends these days, or just going about your business, we wish you a happy, healthy, and prosperous holiday season.
