The sessions are as follows:
Session 1 – Delta and Gamma
The day begins with a discussion on the Greeks, with particular focus on delta and gamma. We'll highlight their relationship as well as the dynamic characteristics of Greeks as a whole. Plus, we'll bring in examples and investor applications.
Session 2 – Theta, Vega and Rho In our second session we'll continue the discussion on the Greeks and turn our attention to theta, Vega and Rho. Discussion points will range from the rate of time decay to the effect of implied volatility around a binary event.
Session 3 – Option Quotes and Chains Our third session will conclude with a deep dive into options quotes and chains. In this session, you'll learn all about options symbology, contract adjustments, cycles, reading chains and quotes, bid ask spreads, volume and open interest.
